dancing... mangos??!!??

Sometimes I have weird dreams. REALLY weird dreams. I wake up laughing because they are so weird.

A few weeks ago, I had a dream about some party and people were dancing, and then I realized that they weren't people, they were mangos >.< Because it's just so weird, I drew a picture of it on Paint. ^_^

Also, sadly, I must inform you all that I have lost my camera. I left it on the windowsill at the college we've been having debate camp at. :( So, my posts are only going to be using my phone's camera, or old pictures I had on my computer. Sad day.

The things you find in the park...

To start off the Illustrated series... Here is a picture of the budgie we found at the park ^_^

We were at a speech and debate picnic, when a little parakeet appeared, flying around the parking lot. So we took it home.

hacking facebook

Confession: I have too much fun pretending to be Shorty.

~~~
I don't have a Facebook, and I absolutely refuse to get one. However, Shorty was nice (or naive, however you want to look at it ;)), and gave me her password =D Occasionally I'll have conversations with people on her chat, pretending to be her, and usually they don't realize it isn't her (until I tell them - because I'm nice like that). I've gotten quite good at imitating her IM style =P
One day, during the speech and debate national tournament in San Diego, I decided to go all out, and wreck as much havoc as possible. *evil laugh*
I started off by changing her name to "Kitty", a nickname teasingly given to her by a speech and debate "friend". Shorty can't stand it when said friend follows her around calling "Kitty! Kitty! Come here Kitty!!!" When she eventually found out, she realized that Facebook wouldn't let her change her name again for a week! Bahaha.
I then proceeded to post a variety of odd, Shorty-ish, completely random statuses.
Then, I moved on to poking people who Shorty doesn't really talk to or have poke wars with.
That definitely garnered some interesting responses afterwards, from both the recipients, and from Shorty =D
After that, I went crazy with changes to her profile, and random likes.
I'm sure she appreciated all of that ;) Especially the Katy Perry page. /sarcasm
And of course, the classic relationship change.
I also added another random speech and debate friend as her uncle ^_^ She once called him "grandpa", and then proceeded to freak out. They aren't related in any way, shape or form, and then only met a couple of years ago. But, you know, whatever works for them ;)
*happy sigh* I love hacking Shorty's facebook. You get such priceless reactions, such as the one show below: (fyi, "NITOC" is the speech and debate tournament we were at.)
Bullfrogs are like Murderous, Dancing, Red-Haired, Dwarfs wearing Viking Outfits
Yes, they really are. Obviously not in appearance.
Let me explain.
Bullfrogs and said Dwarfs both inspire the same kind of emotion. One which really can't be described any other way than 'making you feel like laughing hysterically while simultaneously horrifying you so much that you realize you desperately need to utilize the facilities'. Today, we're here to talk about the bullfrogs. They are seriously messed up creatures.
(RAWR IMMA SCARE YOU OUTCHA
WITS)
Confession: I have issues with bullfrogs. (In case you couldn't tell that by now)
This is actually a recent development. It all started with a desire to find some hand sanitizer.
I was walking along, minding my own business when I hear a weird noise and a splash. Naturally, my first instinct is to freeze and begin searching the water for some evil sea creature that decided to live in the pond. Heart pounding wildly, I made my way towards the edge of the pond for a better look, but as I closed in on what I thought could be the cousin of the loch ness monster *another* weird noise and splash came.
And another
And another
And another
There were bunches and bunches all in rapid succession, and with each new noise and splash I would gasp/ shriek and begin giggling. Reaching the water's edge I was barely containing myself, trying not to scare off whatever creatures I was obviously scaring into the depths of the pond.
I peered over the edge, half expecting to fall in (I didn't, though. I know, you're disappointed), and to my surprise there were HUNDREDS of these big ugly bullfrogs! I couldn't contain myself any longer, the giggling and gasp/shrieks got more forceful, and before you could say 'kiss my slimy lips' I was on the ground hysterical with laughter and horror.
I ended up finally tearing myself away from my new found fear/ entertainment, but every time anyone mentioned frogs or bullfrogs or that pond, I'd dissolve into hysterics once more.
Moral of the story: Don't be a bullfrog.
Shorty and Shrimpy: Illustrated
As you might have noticed, the confessions have been slowing down. Hopefully we'll get a few more out before the 15th. "Why the 15th?" you wonder? Because we have a new blog series! yay!
Presenting...
I was looking for a picture of Shorty and me being artsy or taking photos or something to use for this announcement, but I couldn't find any. So you just get a picture of Shorty being funny. And me sitting in a pile of twelve suitcases. Don't ask why. ^_^
For another undetermined amount of time, our blog posts will be MSPaint, photos, chalk drawings, and other illustrations. We thought it'd be fun to share some of the crazy things we see in our lives.
(Confession: There's actually an ulterior motive to this series as well. We're both busy, and we thought it might be easier to keep up on posts if we just have to post pictures. =P)
is THIS a knife?
Pier 1 Imports sells giant knives that are as big as me. So awesome.
Additionally, their giant spoons have the potential to redefine the world. "Oh mom, just ONE more spoonful of icecream!" =P
